Welcome to the show!

It's what the summer's for!

The Showground

June in Cornwall is full of anticipation, expectation, excitement and planning.

Because it's when the Royal Cornwall Show happens.

Whether you are in farming or retail; into horses or rabbits; love the countryside or in the market for a tractor; You may be a florist or an artist; a musician or a herdsman; a sausage-maker or brewer;

Vintage steam may be your thing or you may be hoping it will be the year when your dog, cavy or pigeon wins the accolade of best in show.

Enjoying the show

You might want to sit all day by the main ring, enjoying an ice cream or two and watch a whole programme of live entertainment unfold in front of your eyes; it might be the shopping that is the deciding factor. Many come just to catch up with old friends and the latest gossip.

If you live in Cornwall, one way or another, you'll have a close encounter with the Royal Cornwall Show. Thousands come from outside the county to exhibit, compete or just to visit. Because it's a show with a reputation for quality, traditional values and the best of everything.

If you win a prize at the Royal Cornwall, it gets noticed.

As a visitor to Cornwall, why not plan your trip around the Royal Cornwall Show? With so much on offer, you might want to stay for the whole three days.

With such great food, drink, entertainment, shopping, farming, flowers, countryside, forestry, music, dance, tradition, competition and camaraderie on offer, who could blame you!

Enjoying the show

There was near-record attendance in 2006. Visitors enjoyed top-class facilities because we believe in continued investment.

Toiltes, showers, catering and roads. All are first class.

There are wheelchairs to hire (advance booking required) and a free hop-on, hop-off bus service tours the vast site.

Facilities and conditions for the many thousands of animals and birds at the show are also kept at a high standard.
