Harmony in Harness
Cornwall-based members of the British Driving Society are mounting a very special display to celebrate the society's 50th anniversary.
Twelve vehicles, each powered by a single horse and driven by local enthusiasts will perform a series of intricate manoeuvres, covering the whole showground in a half-hour show.
The music to which they will be performing will be a medley of traditional Cornish tunes, recorded on to a CD by the Cornwall College Big Band.
It will be a unique combination of music and movement, the like of which has rarely been witnessed.
The organisers are pretty confident that no other county group has ever mounted anything as ambitious as this without "importing" members from other area.
Many of the vehicles in the performance will be on display in a separate exhibition on the showground
